Job Description

Communicate with

customers and patients regarding their confidential health and drug

information. Deliver prescriptions to patients safely and effectively in

a timely manner. Advise customers regarding over the counter medication.

Compound and dispense medications issued by authorized medical

practitioners. Provide exceptional service through development of

relationships with customers to effectively influence patient’s behaviors

regarding medication compliance. Address clinical effects of drugs,

provide counseling and assist patients in managing medical

conditions. Maintain and manage daily and weekly reports to drive

business and healthcare needs of the patients. Comply with all

security/loss prevention procedures including securing of pharmacy department,

safe, and pharmacy department access. Access, input and retrieve information

from computerized system. Maintain an in-stock inventory by ensuring all

inventory management policies and procedures are followed. Partner across

boundaries with all healthcare professionals to provide optimal patient

care. Establish effective working relationships with other areas of

store, and ensures compliance with state and federal regulations. Mentor

and train pharmacy students.

Required Qualifications

Minimum

Doctorate of Pharmacy degree (PharmD) or Foreign Equivalent in Pharmacy &

valid Arizona Pharmacist license or ability to obtain license. Must be

able to effectively communicate with patients and meet CVS Health's leadership

competencies (Focuses on customers, Leads with purpose, Works collaboratively,

Develops talent, Drives business results, Follows community responsibility

standards and Promotes a path to better health). Will accept a Bachelor's

degree in Pharmacy in lieu of a PharmD. Must Apply By 06/13/2018.
